- Manage day-to-day activities related to standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing cost analysis, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost reports, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
- Provide financial insights and cost-related metrics to support business operations and decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc analysis related to product costs, manufacturing performance, and cost trends.
- Lead annual standard cost updates and cost roll processes across manufacturing operations.
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to develop labor and overhead rates.
- Coordinate standard costing activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Monitor compliance with cost accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Analyze inventory and manufacturing cost metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial closing activities related to inventory, manufacturing expenses, and cost variances.
- Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs),



routings, labor standards, and overhead allocations.
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, inventory classifications, and excess and obsolete inventory analysis.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A;, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to improve processes, reporting, and system effectiveness.
- Participate in system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and automation projects related to costing and financial reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Perfil buscado A successful Cost Accounting Manager should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance, with a strong background in standard costing.
- Solid understanding of inventory accounting, manufacturing cost analysis, and financial controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
