The Finance Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the plant's financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial information, compliance with corporate policies, and proper financial planning for the business. They lead general accounting, cost accounting, fixed asset, budgeting, and internal control functions, providing financial support to operations through analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
Bachelor's degree in public accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced English (spoken and written). Availability to travel based on business needs.
5 or more years of progressive experience as a finance supervisor in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Accounting.
Experience in manufacturing companies, preferably in the automotive industry.
Experience supervising personnel and developing work teams.
Experience with budgets, financial forecasting, standard costing, fixed assets, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
General Accounting and Financial Standards.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A;).
Cost Accounting and profitability analysis.
Budgeting and financial forecasting.
Internal Control and audit compliance.
Fixed Asset Management.
Advanced SAP proficiency.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools.
Leadership and personnel management.
Analytical thinking and results orientation.
Effective communication and teamwork.
Project management and continuous improvement.
Ability to lead automation initiatives.
Oversee general accounting activities and coordinate the monthly financial closing process.
Perform and supervise balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Oversee daily reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap, overtime, productivity, and other operational metrics.
Coordinate and develop direct reports,
including Cost Analysts and Fixed Asset Analysts.
Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and short- and long-term financial planning processes.
Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to support decision-making.
Coordinate financial planning activities with the department's analysts.
Coordinate cost accounting, variance analysis, and tax-related activities in collaboration with financial analysts.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies within the plant.
Serve as the Finance department's SAP Super User, supporting system improvements and optimizations.
Lead automation and continuous improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
Oversee investment projects, profitability analyses, and financial justifications.
Review and approve quotations for new part numbers, programs, and business opportunities.
Oversee the management, control, and safeguarding of fixed assets and tooling.
