What will you do? The People Operations Governance & Compliance Manager serves as a centralized governance, compliance operations, and program management resource supporting integral People Operations compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for translating regulatory and policy requirements into scalable operational practices, driving compliance program execution, coordinating audit and remediation activities, developing governance processes, overseeing compliance issue management, and enabling an audit-ready compliance environment across the organization The position acts as a key liaison between People Operations, Legal, Operational Excellence, Internal Audit, business stakeholders, and external providers to ensure compliance risks are identified, assessed, communicated, and remediated effectively. The role combines governance, program management, operational execution, assurance support, and reporting responsibilities to drive compliance maturity and operational excellence. This individual must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to evaluate complex regulatory requirements, assess organizational impacts, and develop practical, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Compliance Governance & Regulatory Operations Develop and maintain governance frameworks, procedures, and operational controls supporting People Operations compliance programs.
Design and manage compliance intake, case management, escalation, and issue-resolution processes. Interpret legal, regulatory, and policy requirements and translate them into actionable business requirements and operational guidance. Partner with stakeholders to assess impacts and support the implementation of compliance requirements. Monitor emerging risks and identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation. Audit, Risk & Remediation Management Coordinate internal audits, compliance reviews, corrective actions, and remediation activities. Manage audit documentation, evidence collection, testing activities, and stakeholder responses. Track findings, validate remediation efforts, and monitor commitments through closure. Support control monitoring and risk assessments to strengthen the compliance environment. Reporting, Governance & Program Effectiveness Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and governance reporting. Analyze compliance trends, audit results, remediation progress, and operational performance metrics. Prepare executive reporting and governance committee materials. Provide actionable insights that support risk-based decision making and continuous improvement. Buildout and maintain People Operations Standard Operating Procedures governance and maintenance model Program Management & Stakeholder Enablement Lead compliance-related projects and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation. Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder commitments. Develop communications, training materials, procedures, and change management plans. Foster accountability and adoption of compliance requirements across global teams.
