Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Engineer.

The Senior

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend and frontend components that power GRYDD’s supply chain operating system, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting system solutions, writing clean and testable code, reviewing code from peers, and participating in technical design discussions.

Engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to integrate machine learning and AI-driven features into the platform, and to optimize data flows and APIs.



This role also involves troubleshooting complex production issues, improving CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers to uphold engineering best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong software engineering skills in languages commonly used for backend and platform development (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or Node.js), with experience in designing and implementing scalable architectures.
- Proficiency with web technologies and services, such as RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with data-intensive systems, including relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization in high-transaction environments.
- Background in integrating or supporting Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions, or strong willingness to work closely with data science teams on ML-driven features.
- Solid understanding of software quality practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code review, and secure development principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in distributed teams and work independently in a remote setting.
- Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or related enterprise platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
