Data Lead Americas – MDM & S/4HANA Scope: Regional Americas Location: Mexico, Tultitlan - Tepalcapa T&C;: Project role, end of nov 27 The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Data Lead Americas to play a critical role in one of the most significant transformation programs in our company’s history: the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the creation of a new standalone organization through the carve‑out from Unilever. This is a unique opportunity to help design and establish the future data foundation of a new company. The role will lead Master Data Management strategy and deployment across the Americas, with a strong focus on Material and Product Domain Management, Customer Master Data, Data Governance, and S/4HANA data transformation. The successful candidate will combine deep Master Data expertise with a strong consulting mindset, influencing senior stakeholders, driving strategic decisions, and ensuring data is fit for purpose to enable business operations from Day 1.

What You Will Be Responsible For





- Lead Master Data Management deployment and governance for the Americas within the SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
- Serve as the regional SME for Material, Product, and Customer Master Data, ensuring alignment with general standards and business needs.
- Partner with global process owners, business teams, data owners, and system integrators to design and implement target-state master data processes.
- Drive data readiness activities, including cleansing, enrichment, validation, and migration to support successful deployments.
- Establish and enhance data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and master data lifecycle management practices.
- Influence stakeholders and promote standardization through adoption of best‑in‑class data management processes.
- Lead senior stakeholder discussions, manage data-related risks, and provide recommendations, escalation, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate testing, business validation, cutover, go‑live readiness, post‑go‑live hypercare and stabilization activities while supporting the future data operating model.

What We Are Looking For

- Extensive Master Data Management (MDM) experience within large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in Material, Product, and Customer Master Data, including governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
- Proven track record leading data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives for ERP implementations.
- Deep understanding of master data processes, governance models, hierarchies, and business rules.
- Ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders and drive decision‑making in complex environments.
- Experience working across global, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong consulting, problem‑solving, communication,



and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP S/4HANA deployment experience required; carve‑out, M&A;, or business separation experience is a plus.
