This is your chance to be part of something meaningful.We're looking for passionate and community-mindedFirst Nationspeople to join our team inDubbo, NSW (Wiradjuri Country).
This is afull-time role(75 hours per fortnight).
You'll be helping young people feel strong, supported and connected to services in their community.About the RoleAs anAboriginal Youth Wellbeing Workerwith ourheadspace Outreach Program, you'll play a key role in supporting your mob and helping young people feel strong and connected.
Your work will include:Encouraging young people to reach out for supportand sharing ways to look after mental health in ways that make sense for your community.Providing warm, culturally safe guidanceto help young people (aged *****) find the right services and support when they need it.Bringing people together through community activitiesthat support physical, emotional,



social and spiritual wellbeing.This role involvesregular travel to rural and remote communitiesto deliver services and support to young people.You'll be supported every step of the way by an organisation that puts its commitment to First Nations peoples at the heart of everything we do.What You'll BringIdentify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander(this is a genuine occupational requirement under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act ****).
