About the role:
This role sets up bank transactions for approval and provides documentation support for the
company's cash transactions, playing a key part in keeping daily funding, check processing, and closing activity moving accurately and on time. Each Treasury Funding Specialist is assigned a portfolio of entities and funding programs, and the two positions back each other up to ensure continuous coverage. Key Responsibilities:
Set up bank transactions and route them for management approval. Provide documentation support for cash transactions across an assigned portfolio of company entities and programs. Support check processing, returned-check resolution, and insurance funds administration. Process and track funding activity, which may include but not limited to earnest money deposits (EMD), lease, and returns fundings, and down payment assistance (DPA) and related program fundings. Own utility, HOA,
and property maintenance payment processing for an assigned portfolio (with AP Specialist backstop support). Update LOS systems such as Homebase and related systems to reflect closing activity accurately and on time. Serve as backup for the other Treasury Funding Specialist to ensure continuous coverage of daily funding operations. Support onboarding of new entities and programs as the company's portfolio grows.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, banking operations, or a related finance/back-office role. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with high-volume transactional and reconciliation data. Working proficiency in English (written and verbal) for cross-team coordination with U. S.-based Treasury staff. Proficiency with Excel/spreadsheets; experience with accounting or loan/property management systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple entities. A collaborative, team-first mindset — this role works closely with its counterpart Treasury Funding Specialist and the broader Treasury team.
