Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for GKN Sinter Metals Mexico's customers, providing essential support, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Process customer orders, provide order status updates, and manage any changes or cancellations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and interactions in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, production, logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide product and service information to customers as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and contribute to team goals.




- Assist with other administrative tasks as required by the customer service department.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration) is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (required due to location).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to empathize with customers and effectively de-escalate difficult situations.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make sound judgments.
