Job Details:
As a SoC Functional Validation (FV) Intern, you will support the functional validation of Intel’s silicon products, contributing to product readiness and overall quality. This role provides hands‑on experience in debugging, validation coverage, test automation, and data analysis within a highly collaborative engineering environment.
You will work closely with experienced validation engineers, gaining exposure to real-world challenges while developing technical skills that support Intel’s business and technology goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the functional validation of silicon products, ensuring expected behavior and product quality.
- Assist in debugging activities, identifying and analyzing functional issues within the system or test environment.
- Support the evaluation of validation coverage, helping assess gaps and improve validation completeness.
- Participate in test automation, including scripting, execution, and maintenance of automated test suites.
- Assist in data analysis to generate validation metrics, track progress, and support decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of validation infrastructure, tools, and test environments used in validation testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand design features and validation requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Intermedium English level.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of Linux Operating Systems
- Python or C or C+ programing knowledge
- Experience developing code for embedded systems is a plusKnowledgeable of SoC/PC architecture
