We are looking for an experienced AI & Backend Engineer to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered backend solutions. This role will focus on Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) modeling, and complex system/API integrations.

Location: MEXICO

Qualifications we are looking for:
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production environments
- Strong understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases




- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures
- Experience working with distributed systems

Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating with ServiceNow or other Helpdesk platforms
- Experience building AI-powered automation tools
- DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

Job duties:
- Design and implement backend services integrating LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
- Develop and optimize RAG pipelines (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval strategies)
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems via REST/GraphQL APIs
- Design and implement system-to-system integrations
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of AI-powered services
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders
