About the Role
This position is within HARMAN’s automotive business and is responsible for all day-to-day HW validation infrastructure activities for globally developed audio products. This position is responsible for developing test strategies and interface tools for Harman Audio products, including AHU, Amplifiers, Loudspeakers,
and Microphones. The position will work closely with the Validation & Certification Global teams and Engineering to ensure test and interface tools that fully validate our products.
The position has no direct reports.
What You Will Do
- Develop and release algorithms for testing Amplifiers, Audio Head Units & Displays.
- Develop and release automated solutions to improve the efficiency of the integral test organization.
- Support and mentor team members in using automated tools and in developing new measurements for automated testers.
- Develops hardware test strategies and plans in accordance with business and product requirements.
- Develop innovative ways to expose and test automotive audio components.
- Gives guidance and direction to junior engineers within the group.
- Creates automated test scripts using common scripting languages.
- Identifies and implements cost-effective testing solutions.
