What We’re Looking For:
Are you ready to elevate your accounting career as a Senior Accountant on Meltwater’s fast-growing Corporate Accounting team in Mexico City? We are seeking professionals with 8+ years of experience who are confident in managing complex accounting processes and driving improvements that support the company’s financial success. You will be a key partner to Integral Accounting, Tax, and Technical Accounting teams, and your insights will contribute to strategic decisions and process enhancements.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead corporate accounting activities, including consolidation, group-wide reporting, and complex transactions.- Prepare, review, and post journal entries and reconciliations with supporting documentation.- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly,



and annual close processes, including intercompany accounts and GL analysis.- Drive process improvements and efficiencies, including automation and enhanced reporting tools.- Oversee key accounting areas, including:
- Cash & bank reconciliation
- Fixed assets
- Intangible assets & amortization
- Payroll
- Lease accounting
- Accruals/provision accounting
- Sales commissions/bonuses
- Income statement analysis
- Loans, debt, and interest accounting
- Participate in enterprise-level initiatives, such as tax & legal entity optimization, ERP implementations, and internal controls enhancements.- Oversee group and statutory audit requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.- Research, analyze, and communicate complex accounting issues, providing solutions and recommendations to leadership.
