British American Tobacco Méxicohas an exciting opportunity for aJr. Data Analyst in Monterrey.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL and Python to prepare high‑quality datasets for analysis and modeling.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and anomalies, supporting feature engineering and model validation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency across pipelines.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to clearly communicate insights and support business decisions.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches, validate outputs, document processes, and support early exploration of AI/ML use cases.

What are we looking for?




- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
- Strong skills in SQL and data manipulation, as well as experience with Python for data analysis.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Exposure to machine learning or AI concepts (academic or professional) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
