The Mission:
As the Project Manager, you are the strategic link between the customer’s vision and our factory’s execution. You will own the transition of new products from the R&D;/NPI phase into high-volume manufacturing. Your goal is to lead the "Ramp-up" phase—ensuring capacity is ready, costs are controlled, and delivery targets are met with surgical precision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Customer & Contractual Liaison
- Voice of Operations: Serve as the primary representative to customers for project status, operational health, and post-launch maintenance.
- Contractual Oversight: Participate in the review of RFIs (Request for Information), Statement of Work (SOW) documents, and Development Agreements to ensure operational feasibility.
- Change Management: Lead the implementation of major customer requirement changes after mass production starts, ensuring zero disruption to the supply chain.
Interface with project teams during the pre-production phase to lead all operational activities for new product launches.
- Capacity Planning: Organize and lead critical capacity reviews to ensure the facility is equipped to handle projected volumes.
- Delivery Excellence: Oversee the high-pressure ramp-up phase, coordinating cross-functional resources (Production, Quality, Logistics) to meet aggressive delivery schedules.
3. Operational Architecture & Supply Chain
- Matrix Development: Define operational rules for new projects and develop supply chain management matrices to support them.
- System Mastery: Manage and optimize data flow within ERP systems and customer-facing portals to ensure 100% accuracy in order management.
4. Organizational & Financial Control
- Team Building: Direct the formulation of the operations team, including performance evaluation and culture building in a startup environment.
