Objective of the position
- Standardize and control the processes and instruments of Facility Management in the LATAM region as well as provide support and specialized support for future development of FM ensure from a regulatory and government system (codes and standards) are met but exceeded where applicable.
Principal activities
Mechanical & HVAC Systems
- Technically direct and inform/instruct FM employees.
- Advising managers on all issues relevant to FM, in particular renovation and updating,
including budget control and budget planning, as well as sustainability projects
- Represent the company audits; follow-up of all resulting actions.
- Verify compliance with relevant laws and regulations; handle legal matters related to the operator's responsibility in cooperation with the specialized departments
- If necessary, develop local guidelines/standards for the respective department of the department
- Standardize and Control the development of specific guidelines at one or more sites; train FM staff at the sites on the content of the guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to the specific area of expertise in cooperation with specialized departments.
- Advise plant managers on all relevant FM issues in the region, including making recommendations to the region management at all levels of reporting.
- Design and control annual themes focused on FM of the region
