The Senior Scientist role is based in Tlalnepantla, Mexico (on site role). This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory at the forefront of fragrance science, leveraging advanced technologies to generate actionable insights that shape the future of IFF's fragrance portfolio and AI-driven innovation.
Run and maintain high-throughput analytical workflows and robotic systems to accelerate data generation
Provide large uniform data sets that are ready to be used for building correlations, actionable insights and market understanding
Support AI-driven fragrance design by providing structured, high-quality data




Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or closely related scientific field (PhD preferred)
Minimum 7 years in analytical chemistry within fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or related industries
Strong knowledge of fragrance composition, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and specialty bases
Advanced data processing, interpretation, and management capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong expertise in analytical chemistry (Master's or PhD), ideally gained in the fragrance industry
Previous experience supporting fragrance or sensory-related analytical projects
