Sets up and operates production machines as per the blueprint and aligns the attachments and accessories to conform with the requirements and specifications.
Job Requirements
- Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering diagrams, and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and operating machining equipment.
- Performing various tasks like deburring, cleaning, sanding, setting up, operating the machining equipment, and troubleshooting the operation and flow issues.
- Following the standard operating procedures, meeting the specified quality and productivity standards, and documenting time and production quantity records.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects,
and completing appropriate documentation.
What your background should look like
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
