*Key Functions and Responsibilities*

The Parts Manager is responsible for managing the Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, accurate inventory control, profitable parts sales, effective purchasing, and high-quality customer service. The position also leads the Parts team and monitors departmental financial and operational performance.

Parts Department Management
- Manage the daily operations and performance of the Parts Department.
- Establish and maintain effective procedures, controls, and service standards.
- Coordinate Parts activities with internal departments to support customer and service requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Inventory Management
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on demand and business requirements.
- Monitor overstock, understock, slow-moving, and obsolete parts.
- Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, transfers, returns, adjustments, and inventory transactions.
- Conduct and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.




- Resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate system records.

Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Coordinate parts purchasing and replenishment activities.
- Monitor purchase orders, backorders, availability, and supplier lead times.
- Maintain effective relationships with parts suppliers and monitor vendor performance.
- Review purchasing costs, invoices, returns, credits, and warranty-related parts processes, when applicable.

Parts Sales & Customer Service
- Manage Parts sales activities and achieve established sales and profitability objectives.
- Review quotations, pricing, gross margins, open orders, and backorders.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Respond to parts inquiries and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities to increase Parts sales and customer retention.

Financial & Performance Management
- Manage the financial performance of the Parts Departme
