Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable
Specialist to join our growing team. This is a high-priority, urgent hire
supporting multiple operating and non-operating entities across the
organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Accounts Payable experience,
thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and possess excellent customer
service skills when working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
This role offers significant exposure across several business entities and
provides opportunities for professional growth within the Midway organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Obtain and verify appropriate approvals for invoices and vendor payments.
• Review, process, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting
system.
• Manage accounts payable activities across multiple operating and non-operating
entities.
• Monitor and manage multiple AP email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and
follow-up.
• Process vendor payments and support payment cycle activities.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate
records.
• Respond to Accounts Payable inquiries from internal departments and external
vendors.
