The Global Inventory Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide inventory reduction and inventory health initiatives across TE Sensors' global supply chain network. This position drives strategic actions to reduce excess and obsolete inventory, improve inventory turns, optimize working capital, and establish sustainable inventory management processes across regions.
The role partners closely with Planning, Procurement, Program Management, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and regional Supply Chain teams to identify inventory risks, define corrective actions, and drive measurable improvements in inventory performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Inventory Reduction Leadership
- Own global inventory reduction roadmap and annual inventory targets.
- Drive initiatives to reduce Days on Hand (DOH), GIR, excess inventory, and obsolete inventory.
- Lead cross-functional inventory review processes and governance cadence.
- Establish inventory reduction strategies based on root-cause analysis.
Program & Process Leadership
- Lead integral inventory improvement projects.
- Coordinate inventory actions with regional inventory champions.
- Drive standard work and governance processes.
- Develop sustainable inventory management practices that prevent future excess creation.
