At GEA Group, a global leader in process engineering, we are looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our Nutrition Plant Engineering (NPE) division, focused on Filling & Packaging equipment . This role is idóneo for automation engineers who enjoy working in the field, solving real-time technical challenges directly at customer production sites — rather than being behind a desk. General Information Provide onsite and remote maintenance activities, production support, commissioning, diagnostics, and inspections to our customers on Beverage Aseptic lines, ensuring on-time, on-quality results with customer satisfaction. Travel and commissioning estimated 75% of the time over the year. Roles and Responsibilities Provide electromechanical support on-site for beverage aseptic lines Repair or replace mechanical, electrical, and/or control components of the lines Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring optimal equipment performance and operational continuity Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, applying root-cause analysis to minimize downtime Support commissioning and equipment startup following installations, overhauls,
or upgrades Train customer staff on basic operation and maintenance of the equipment Prepare technical and service reports after each intervention Provide remote technical support when required, in addition to on-site work Educational Background Degree in engineering career (Mechanical, electro-mechanical, Mechatronics) (Valuable) Master’s Degree in maintenances technologies Professional Knowledge and Experiences 3+ years of experience working as maintenances engineer in filling lines (blower, filling, capper, other machines of end of line, thus external devices as pumps, valves, heat exchanger, etc.) (Valuable) Maintenance in Aseptic Filling Technology Mechanical, Electricity, pneumatics.
