About the Role

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain web and business applications using .NET and .NET Core.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Work with Entity Framework and SQL Server to manage data access, queries, and persistence.
- Create and optimize data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations in Power BI.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, APIs, Excel files, and other business systems.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand functional and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical and data visualization solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application, database, and reporting issues.
- Optimize application performance, SQL queries, datasets, and Power BI reports.
- Document technical implementations, data models, APIs, workflows, and development processes.
- Stay up to date with .NET, Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft technology best practices.

Requirements




- Experience developing applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Entity Framework.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and database management.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development principles.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Basic to intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
- Self-taught, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work 100% remotely and manage tasks independently.

Nice to Have
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) certification.
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, and scheduled refreshes.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and external data sources.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or other front-end technologies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
