Weddings is one of the top wedding studios in the country. We're always hiring new photographers and videographers. We're looking for an experienced professional who can review resumes, evaluate portfolios, conduct interviews, and manage the contract negotiation and hiring process. You'll need a keen eye for wedding photography and videography. You must have experience in the wedding industry with a demonstrated ability to sniff out exceptional portfolios.

Weddings happen on the weekends, and this is the most important day in our clients' lives. That's why this isn't a 9 to 5 job. If an emergency comes up, we'll lean on you to search for replacements. If you want to turn off your phone at 5:01 pm, you should probably apply somewhere else!

Key Responsibilities

- Source and recruit wedding photographers and videographers across 30+ markets nationwide, using channels like Instagram scouting, Facebook photographer groups, referrals, and direct outreach to independent shooters.
- Review portfolios and websites against defined quality benchmarks (composition, editing style, consistency across weddings), and reject candidates who don't meet the bar before they reach interview stage.
- Conduct structured interviews covering technical skill, availability, professionalism, and fit with client facing work, then score candidates against a standard rubric.




- Negotiate and finalize freelance contracts, including rate, coverage terms, and territory, and track signed contractors in our CRM.
- Onboard new contractors: walk them through our policies, quality standards, and booking process so they're ready to take assignments.
- Maintain and update contractor records in Knack, including availability, specialties, service area, and performance notes.
- Monitor contractor pipeline health per market and flag gaps where a city is short on coverage for upcoming bookings.
- Step in on short notice to source a replacement photographer or videographer when a contractor cancels close to a wedding date, including weekend and after hours availability.
- Partner with Director of Production to identify which markets need coverage and prioritize recruiting effort accordingly.

Requirements:
- 2+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition
- 3+ years shooting wedding photography or videography (either discipline)
- Strong network in the wedding photo/video community
- Active in shooter communities and social platforms used for scouting
- Comfortable managing a high volume of candidates and contracts at once
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with CRM and database tools (we use Knack)
- Highly detail oriented, able to juggle multiple markets and deadlines
- Self starter with strong interpersonal skills and follow through
- Available for weekend and after hours work when contractor emergencies arise
