We are currently looking for a Foreign Trade Coordinator – Import & Export . This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing import and export operations for beverages and spirits, ensuring full compliance with customs, tax, health, and regulatory requirements. Position Details Position: Foreign Trade Coordinator – Import & Export Work Arrangement: On-site / Full-time Location: Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City – Torre Arcos Bosques Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: Competitive salary comprehensive benefits Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Customs, Logistics, or a related field. 3 years of experience in foreign trade operations. Preferred: Experience with the export of alcoholic beverages, tequila, spirits, or consumer goods. Advanced English is REQUIRED . The interview process will include an interview in English. Knowledge & Technical Skills Import and export processes. Mexican customs regulations and tariff classification. Regulations applicable to alcoholic beverages. Incoterms and international trade agreements. International logistics and transportation, including ocean, ground, and air freight. Foreign trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), certificates, and related documentation.
VUCEM and customs entry documentation. Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the execution of import and export operations for finished goods and materials. Oversee the preparation and review of customs and regulatory documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in both origin and destination countries. Coordinate operations with foreign trade specialists, customer service teams, customs brokers, and logistics providers. Track international shipments, transit times, customs clearance, and final deliveries. Monitor operational KPIs and ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) performance. Oversee the proper application and control of logistics costs. Coordinate international sample shipments for Commercial, Marketing, and other teams. Follow up on and resolve logistics or regulatory issues, escalating them appropriately when necessary. Consolidate reports related to shipments, incidents, costs, and service-level performance. Maintain ongoing communication with Logistics, Supply Planning, Production, Finance, Legal, and International Commercial teams. Participate in international new market expansion projects. Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of foreign trade processes. Participate in the implementation of digital tools for operational control and tracking.
