About the Role
BOGE Rubber & Plastics is looking for a
Regional Automation Specialist
to lead and support automation and robotics projects across our Americas operations. The position will be based in
San Luis Potosí
with regular travel to
Brazil and the USA
.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, program, integrate, commission, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems.
Lead automation and robotics projects, from concept through start-up and production release.
Support
plastic injection automation
, material handling, assembly, and production processes.
Program and troubleshoot
PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics
.
Integrate and troubleshoot
Articulated Robots, Linear Robots, Cobots, SCARA, AGVs, and AMRs
.
Work with technologies from
KUKA, ABB, FANUC, UR, AUBO, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa/MOTOMAN, KraussMaffei, ENGEL, and Wittmann
.
Troubleshoot mechanical drive systems, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated equipment.
Support equipment start-up, FAT/SAT,



root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Standardize automation solutions and provide technical support to Engineering and Maintenance teams across the region.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience
in industrial automation, robotics, controls, or manufacturing engineering.
Strong experience with
PLC systems, industrial robots, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting
.
Experience in
plastic injection manufacturing
is highly preferred.
Advanced
English
and fluent Spanish.
Willingness to travel internationally to
Brazil and USA
.
Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
