About the Role
CLOUDSUFI is looking for a
Security Engineer
with 1–3 years of experience to join our security engineering team in Guadalajara. This role provides an opportunity to work on
cloud security, application security, DevSecOps, security automation, and AI-driven security initiatives
.
You will work closely with senior security engineers and architects to monitor security environments, support vulnerability management, assist with incident response, and implement security controls across cloud and application environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response activities.
Assist with vulnerability scanning, assessment, and risk prioritization.
Support
SAST, SCA, container security, API security, and WAF
activities.
Monitor cloud security posture and security dashboards.
Assist with security controls in
CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows
.
Perform basic security automation using
Python, Bash, or similar scripting
.
Support Infrastructure as Code security using
Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
.
Assist with AI-enabled security monitoring and vulnerability prioritization.
Help identify security risks related to AI agents, including
prompt injection, authorization gaps, and secrets exposure
.
Document security findings, remediation activities, and operational procedures.




Escalate security incidents and risks to senior engineers.
Must-Have Skills
1–3 years
of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Information Security, or Security Engineering.
Basic understanding of
Cloud Security, Application Security, and DevSecOps
.
Knowledge of vulnerability management and security monitoring.
Exposure to
SIEM, logging, monitoring, or observability tools
.
Basic understanding of
WAF, API security, and network security
.
Exposure to CI/CD and secure SDLC practices.
Basic scripting knowledge in
Python or Bash
.
Familiarity with
Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work
onsite in Guadalajara
and support the
US shift
.
Nice-to-Have
Exposure to
EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, SAST/SCA
.
Understanding of
Zero Trust and Identity Security
.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as
SOC 2, PCI-DSS, SOX, or HIPAA
.
CompTIA Security+ or cloud security certification.
Exposure to
AI/ML applications in cybersecurity
.
