Drive labor efficiency and capacity planning across Stamping, Body, Paint, and Final areas at the Hermosillo plant.
This role leads new model labor optimization, time studies (MODAPTS), operator allocations, and cycle line layout planning to support program launches, while partnering with manufacturing engineering, ergonomics, and plant teams to deploy integral Industrial Engineering standards and achieve labor targets across North America.Support forward model and capacity studies for all milestones including Direct Labor and Indirect Labor in all areas (Stamping, Body, Paint, Final)Lead new model labor optimization efforts to achieve labor targets, through benchmarking (internal andexternal), target setting, tracking process change, and replicate across programsSupport the cycle line layout planning process & virtual build events with future model operator allocations andtime studies, and work with plants to support physical build events & program launchesMinimize and/or offset labor impacts through labor blitzes, plant tasks/projects, and identifying design/process opportunitiesAssist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies,
throughput issues, and launch supportAccurately maintain and deliver required IE documentation (Labor Glidepath, Program 1-Pager, Labor by Department, Plant Line speed, APT Assessment, etc.)Develop & document standardization of methods & procedures for the organizationDrive & implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standardsWork with plants to complete & evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standardsCollaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, and/or plant personnelScope of responsibility may include Assembly and Stamping in North AmericaTravel domesticallyBachelor's Degree EngineeringPlant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferredExperience with MODAPTS preferredExperience working in a team environmentExcellent verbal/written communication skillsDetailed knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong planning and organizational skillsWork well under pressure#FordMexico#LI-HC1#J-*****-Ljbffr
