Responsible for driving transportation procurement, freight optimization, and logistics excellence across the Americas. Leads regional sourcing initiatives with a primary focus on Ocean Freight while supporting transportation optimization across all modes where applicable. The role develops regional standards, carrier strategies, and transportation solutions to improve service, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Freight Excellence
- Monitor transportation markets, freight rates, capacity developments, and industry trends.
- Lead regional transportation tenders and sourcing initiatives, primarily for Ocean Freight.
- Develop and implement standardized transportation processes, policies, and governance across the Americas.
- Provide regular market intelligence and management reporting with recommendations for risk mitigation and cost optimization.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, service levels, and total logistics costs.

Transportation Procurement & Carrier Management




- Lead end-to-end transportation RFPs and sourcing projects across multiple countries.
- Develop sourcing strategies, bid packages, lane structures, and award recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, freight rates, and service-level agreements with carriers and logistics providers.
- Build and manage a high-performing carrier network that supports business requirements and growth.
- Monitor carrier performance through defined KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
- Lead end-to-end transportation RFPs and sourcing projects across multiple countries.
