Resumen
The Accounting & Treasury Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organization by overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury activities, and assisting with accounting close and financial reporting. This role ensures timely cash flow management, accurate financial records, compliance with company policies and local regulations, and provides analytical support to top management.
Tareas y responsabilidades
- Manage the organization's accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and general accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
- Prepare customer invoices, monitor collections, reconcile customer and vendor accounts, and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Process supplier invoices and payments while ensuring compliance with company policies, approval authorities, and agreed payment terms.
- Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash flow forecasts, coordinate banking activities, and support effective liquidity management.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to assist business decision-making.
- Maintain the integrity of accounting records and ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, IFRS, and applicable Mexican accounting and tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit requests.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators to support operational and financial performance.
Estudios / Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (or equivalent Mexican professional accounting designation) is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and general accounting.
- Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Experience working in a multinational organization is an asset.
- English advance is a must.
