Position Overview:

Jaropamex-Piston Group is seeking an experienced Focus Factory Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations within an automotive sewing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the achievement of key performance targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The idóneo candidate will drive operational excellence, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise daily manufacturing operations within the assigned sewing/trim production area
- Develop, implement, and monitor production plans to meet KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
- Analyze production performance and drive efficiency improvements across sewing lines
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO)
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for sewing equipment and machinery
- Oversee material flow, WIP control, inventory accuracy, and supply chain coordination




- Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure adherence to health & safety regulations
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including waste reduction and process optimization

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles within the automotive industry (sewing/trim preferred)
- Proven experience managing high-volume production and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of production planning, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with sewing operations, stitching processes, and labor-intensive production environments is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of quality systems (IATF 16949) and safety regulations
