Equipment engineers may evaluate, inspect, maintain, repair, design, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment. Equipment Engineers may have to work in different areas, such as electrical, mechanical.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- In addition to P2Level:
- Preventive and corrective equipment Maintenance and calibration for production equipment.
- Design of experiments to determine best parameters for equipment operation.
- Create Fixtures and Tools defining requirements, specifications, design, and operation in compliance with company procedures Create Equipment Qualification Protocols like IQOQ
- Interface with other engineering groups for implementation of equipment related updates.
- Document Equipment Events with impact to product assembled, like Out of Tolerance and similar events
- Interface with other engineering groups for implementation of equipment related updates.
- Document Equipment Events with impact to product assembled, like Out of Tolerance and similar events, perform risk analysis for equipment related issues
- Control equipment tools as well as costs.
- Report manufacturing equipment performance including equipment events, downtime, and issues
- Review and/or approve ECOs to determine impact on manufacturing and field perspective.
