Resumen

This position provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to standard costing, production variances, inventory analysis, and financial processes.

Responsabilidades

Mains Responsibilities:

- Support the preparation and analysis of manufacturing costs.
- Assist with standard cost updates and cost-related master data.
- Analyze material, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
- Support the analysis of production and purchase price variances.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle count analysis, and inventory adjustments.
- Support monthly closing activities related to cost accounting.
- Prepare Excel reports, databases, and financial analyses.
- Assist in tracking vigente costs versus standard or budgeted costs.
- Support product cost analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collect and validate information from Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.
- Assist with documentation and internal control requirements.
- Support special Finance and Cost Accounting projects as assigned.

Education:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,



Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably in the final semesters of the degree program.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
- Interest in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Finance.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze numerical information and identify discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of cost accounting concepts such as standard cost, actual cost, material cost, labor, overhead, and variances.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Experience or academic exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Intermediate English proficiency preferred.
