The Manufacturing and Transformation Manager, is responsible to drive manufacturing performance, launch readiness and be able to deploy specific transformation projects in Maintenance, Digital, and CO2 reduction scope 1 and 2.
Manufacturing:
- Drive operational readiness to ensure successful launches and transfers.
- Lead the transfer activities in NAO for Footprint Optimization
- Organize frequent reviews with Plant Launch Team and Program Core Team ensuring appropriate action plans and follow up until achieving a green MPT and non-event launch for customer deliveries
- Give operational support to troubled programs, supporting the resolution of problems during the launch phases.
- Contribute to the arbitration of issues between program and operations where needed, with the clear objective of protecting the SOP.
- Participate in the Program Review Committees to assure compliance of the programs in development with Faurecia Launch Rules and to ensure the preparation of the downstream phases of the programs.
Transformation:
- Drive and develop the digital transformation activities
- Implement Forvia Digital tools across the plants.
- Coordinate the CO2 and Maintenance roadmaps
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in Maintenance Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Program Launch Management within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
- Strong expertise in Program Launches, including the complete APQP process
- Demonstrated senior-level experience leading and managing complex program launches across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Solid background in metal-mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge and experience in CO2 welding/manufacturing processes and maintenance operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve operational and technical challenges.
- Self-driven, hands-on leader with a high level of initiative, accountability, and execution focus.
- Previous career progression through positions such as Manufacturing/Launching Engineering Manager, or similar leadership roles.
- Experience managing regional operations and driving standardization across multiple facilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and plant leadership.
- Advanced English level required
