Remote Internet Sales Representative

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: $25,000 MXN net per month.
- Vacation: 12 days per year.
- Aguinaldo: 15 days.
- Fully remote position.

Position Summary The Internet Sales Representative — Internet Sales Team (IST) — owns the customer relationship from the moment a lead enters the CRM until that customer is standing in the showroom in front of the assigned salesperson. This is a sales position, not a clerical or message-taking position. The representative is measured on appointments that show and on the units those appointments produce — not on activity volume alone.

Where the role starts and stops.

The IST representative works the lead: first response, live phone contact, qualification, ongoing follow-up, appointment setting, and appointment confirmation. At the point of arrival, the assigned salesperson takes over and owns everything that follows — the walk-around and demo, negotiation, trade appraisal, desking, F&I; introduction, delivery, and close. The representative does not desk deals or negotiate final numbers.

The representative does stay involved on any customer who leaves without purchasing, and continues follow-up in coordination with the salesperson and sales manager.

The dealership generates the majority of its opportunities through paid digital advertising and organic website traffic. Every lead carries real acquisition cost, which means the standard is simple: no lead goes unworked, no lead goes unanswered, and no lead sits past company response standards. The representative works inside DriveCentric CRM alongside the dealership's AI Sales Agent, handling live human conversations, qualification, appointment setting, and confirmation across all dealership brands and product lines.

The role requires comfort with on-road motorcycles, off-road and dual-sport units, side-by-sides and ATVs, personal watercraft, scooters, e-bikes, and pre-owned inventory, as well as the financing, insurance, and accessory conversations that go with them.

Essential Functions

1. Speed to Lead & First Response

- Respond to every assigned internet lead within the company Speed to Lead standard of 5 minutes or less during business hours.
- Answer or return every assigned inbound sales phone opportunity promptly; return missed calls the same business hour.
- Make the first response a live human attempt — phone first, then text, then email. An emailed reply alone does not satisfy first response.
- Maintain Reply Speed on all subsequent inbound customer replies, not just the first touch. A fast first response followed by a slow second response still loses the deal.
- Work leads from all sources: website forms, chat, manufacturer and OEM referral programs, third-party marketplaces, marketplace messaging, social messaging, and inbound calls and texts.

2. Multi-Channel Customer Engagement

- Engage customers by phone, SMS, email, website chat, and social messaging, matching the channel the customer chose.
- Use personalized video and photo messaging on units of interest to differentiate the dealership from competing dealers responding with generic price quotes.
- Qualify every opportunity: intended use, riding experience and licensing, timeline,

trade, payment or cash expectations, and who else is involved in the decision.
- Provide accurate information on inventory availability, pricing and disclosed fees, financing and promotional programs, apparel and accessory needs, and service and delivery timing.
- Handle objections professionally and create urgency without pressure, misrepresentation, or price bait.
- Identify family and multi-unit opportunities — a PWC or side-by-side buyer is frequently a two-unit, trailer, and accessory sale.

3. AI Sales Agent Partnership & Handoff

- Work in partnership with the DriveCentric AI Sales Agent, which covers after-hours engagement, instant first response, and long-cycle nurture. The AI opens conversations; the representative owns the outcome.
- Review every AI-engaged conversation assigned to you at the start of each shift, take over engaged and appointment-ready customers, and never restart a conversation the customer has already had.
- Take over immediately on any escalation trigger: pricing negotiation, trade valuation, credit or affordability discussion, complaint, or a direct request to speak with a person.
- Report AI conversation quality issues, wrong-inventory or wrong-pricing responses, and missed handoffs to the Sales Manager so agent training can be corrected.

4. Appointment Generation, Confirmation & Show

- Convert conversations into firm, date-and-time-specific appointments with a named salesperson or manager — not "stop by anytime."
- Set the appointment agenda in advance: unit(s) to be seen, trade to be appraised, documents to bring, and expected time on site.
- Confirm every appointment the day before and again approximately two hours prior, across at least two channels.
- Communicate each appointment to the sales desk before arrival so the unit is prepped, the salesperson is assigned, and the customer is expected by name.
- Work every no-show the same day and reschedule; a no-show is a rescheduling task, not a dead lead.
- Follow up on every shown appointment that did not purchase, in coordination with the salesperson and manager.

5. Handoff to the Salesperson

- Introduce the customer to the assigned salesperson in person or by phone at arrival, and transfer the full context of the conversation — unit of interest, use case, trade, timeline, payment expectations, and anything already promised.
- Complete the handoff in the CRM so the salesperson inherits an accurate, current opportunity record rather than starting over.
- Set up the finance conversation in advance — payment expectations, credit application, and awareness that F&I; products will be presented — so the customer arrives prepared rather than surprised. The F&I; presentation itself belongs to the sales and F&I; team.
- At the point of handoff, the salesperson owns the demo,

negotiation, appraisal, desking, F&I;, delivery, and close. The representative does not desk deals or negotiate final numbers.
- Resume ownership of follow-up on any customer who leaves without purchasing, coordinated with the salesperson and sales manager.
- Execute post-sale thank-you contact, delivery satisfaction follow-up, and referral and review requests in support of CSI and OEM survey scores, as assigned.

6. CRM Discipline & Data Integrity

- DriveCentric is the system of record. If it is not in the CRM, it did not happen.
- Complete all assigned CRM tasks daily, with task completion at or above 95%.
- Keep every opportunity in the correct pipeline stage with accurate contact information, vehicle of interest, trade, source, and next scheduled action.
- Log every call, text, email, and chat outcome. Never close, mark dead, or reassign a lead outside company disposition rules.
- Carry zero aged untouched leads. No opportunity may sit beyond the company response and follow-up standard.
- Protect source and sales attribution accuracy — group marketing spend decisions are made from this data.

7. Unsold Follow-Up, Database Reactivation & Seasonality

- Work a structured unsold cadence at 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90 days, with a defined reason for every contact.
- Execute assigned campaigns against the existing customer database: equity and trade-up, service-to-sales opportunities, expiring OEM programs, model-year closeout, and aged inventory pushes.
- Support seasonal demand cycles — PWC and marine into spring and summer, UTV and off-road into fall and winter, and on-road year-round in Southern California.
- Assist with focused pushes on aged and priority inventory as directed by the General Manager or group leadership.

8. Product & Market Knowledge

- Maintain working product knowledge across the dealership's brand portfolio, including Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Can-Am / Sea-Doo / BRP, Polaris and Slingshot, CFMOTO, Ducati, KTM, Husqvarna, Harley-Davidson, Kayo, Kymco, and Super 73, plus pre-owned.
- Know current OEM retail programs, rate and rebate offers, freight and setup structures, and program expiration dates.
- Know current inventory and inbound units. Never quote a unit that is not available or not accurately priced.
- Maintain awareness of competing dealer pricing and advertised offers in the market area.
- Complete assigned OEM and vendor product certifications and attend scheduled training.

9. Compliance & Customer Consent

- Obtain and document communication consent, honor opt-out and do-not-contact requests immediately, and follow all company texting, calling, and after-hours contact rules.
- Quote pricing consistent with advertised and disclosed pricing. Never quote a price, payment, rate, or availability that cannot be honored.
- Follow all California and federal advertising, disclosure, privacy, and consumer protection requirements applicable to vehicle sales, including OHV and registration-related disclosures where applicable.
- Never share customer personal or credit information outside authorized company systems and personnel.
- Complete all assigned compliance training on schedule.
