Role Description The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Monterrey, NLE, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance for industrial operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing production workflows, developing and validating process improvements, specifying equipment and tooling requirements, and supporting production transfer and supplier development projects.

Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The role also includes documenting standards, training production personnel on new processes, and supporting operational launch and scale-up activities across NAM Point’s North American projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles, including process optimization and workflow analysis.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills related to equipment design, tooling, and production systems.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Machining and related shop-floor operations.
- Relevant experience in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments, preferably in North America.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and manufacturing-related software; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Monterrey, NLE, and travel as needed to customer or supplier sites within North America.
