Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Located in ZAPOPAN JALISCO Your responsibilities

- Ensure smooth new project launch at IEE GDL by being the interface between the overseas project development team and the local team.
- Provide local input to process development activities for new products, including participation in APQP and feasibility reviews.
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
- Ensures that production equipment, tooling, fixtures, automation, and Poka-Yoke systems is implemented in Mexico in a timely manner.
- Lead Run-at-Rate, trial builds, and support PPAP submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, and customer-specific requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5–7 years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing engineering.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, Feasibility reviews, and process validation.
- Experience with CAD tools and manufacturing process simulation. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies.
