Since 1988, we have built equipment that works in the real world, and we're looking for a design engineer who does the same.This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer position based in Corregidora, Querétaro.We're looking for a design engineer with strong expertise in ASME Code design to lead the engineering of pressure equipment. This role owns the technical design and documentation of ASME-code equipment, ensuring compliance with Section VIII (pressure vessel design) and Section IX (welding qualification) requirements. Design pressure equipment in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 (and/or 2)Develop and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) per ASME Section IXPerform engineering calculations for vessel design (shell, heads, nozzles, supports,



reinforcement)Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCADPerform vessel design verification using COMPRESS (or equivalent software such as PV Elite)Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and calculation packages for code complianceCoordinate with manufacturing, quality, and welding teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and code-compliantThis role requires an engineer with strong technical foundations in pressure vessel design and code compliance.Proven experience in mechanical/design engineering, specifically with ASME-code equipmentSolid knowledge of ASME Section VIII (pressure vessel design)Solid knowledge of ASME Section IX (welding qualifications — WPS/PQR)Experience using COMPRESS or equivalent pressure vessel design software (PV Elite, etc.)Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelingProficiency in AutoCAD for 2D draftingAbility to perform and interpret engineering calculations for vessel componentsAbility to read and produce technical drawings, GD&T;, and welding symbols
