Project Description:
Large US based investment fund is looking for a support engineer having strong Unix administration skills and development experience.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting financial data users
Addressing users' concerns and queries about data availability, accessing, quality, etc.
Multitasking and delivery in a fast pace environment
Maintaining our production software
Engineering improvements to our data platform

Skills:
Must have

Strong experience with the Unix platform and toolset including bash, git, regex, etc.
Good problem solving abilities and the ability to learn quickly
Excellent English communication: Oral and Writing
Competency in the languages Python or Perl or C++ (small in each is also fine), and SQL
Understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithmic complexity

Nice to have

Experience in the financial services industry and/or data science
