Director of Food and Beverage:
The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for the strategic, administrative, and operational leadership of all Food and Beverage areas, ensuring an exceptional Guest and Member experience while maintaining brand standards, financial performance, and the effective development of the Food and Beverage team.
What will I be doing?:
As Director of Food and Beverage, you will oversee all Food and Beverage operations, ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and profitability. You will lead, develop, and inspire teams while operating within established budgetary and corporate guidelines.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Direct and oversee all Food and Beverage outlet operations
- Ensure exceptional levels of guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Recruit, lead, train, and develop the Food and Beverage leadership and team members
- Manage and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Control and optimize Food, Beverage, Liquor, and Payroll costs in line with budgeted targets
- Establish departmental goals, strategies, work schedules, budgets, and operating procedures
- Lead menu development in collaboration with Executive Chefs and the Food and Beverage team
- Oversee monthly inventory counts and stock control
- Drive sales initiatives and motivate teams to maximize revenue and profitability
- Conduct annual and mid-year performance evaluations for managers under your responsibility
- Analyze guest satisfaction results and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure effective communication through regular meetings and documented follow-ups
- Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
