We are looking for a talented Senior Commvault Backup Engineer to join our specialized IT team at Cummins in Guadalajara, Jalisco. (Hybrid position: 60% onsite, 40% home office).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Core responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support and guidance for the Commvault platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Lead the resolution of complex technical issues related to Commvault deployments, troubleshooting backup failures, restore issues, and performance concerns.




- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance backup and recovery solutions.
- Leverage Automation and AI to ensure the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and health checks of the Commvault environment, proactively addressing any potential issues.
- Define and authorize platform upgrades, patches, and version migrations to minimizing downtime and ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices related to the Commvault environment.
- Act as the escalation point for the internal support teams and clients to resolve high priority / complex issues impacting critical business functions.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning of the platform to meet future business needs.
