DATA SCIENTIST provide and develop secure, scalable, and high‑quality digital solutions (applications, data products, integrations, automations, and cloud platforms) that enable Magotteaux to make data‑driven decisions, automate processes, collaborate, and innovate efficiently across IT and OT domains and infuse AI across solutions—evangelizing safe, value‑driven adoption (e.g., Copilot, ML models, and AI agents) throughout the business.
Responsibilities




Explore complex operational and business datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Prepare and clean data, engineer features, and build and test statistical and machine learning models in Databricks.
Independently retrieve, transform, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources using SQL, Python, and related tools.
Design experiments and evaluate models for statistical validity, business relevance, and appropriate performance measures.
Deploy, monitor, document, and retrain models using sound MLOps practices; identify and address model drift.
Partner with domain experts, Data Analysts, and IT colleagues to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
Communicate findings through clear narratives, presentations, visualizations, and Power BI reports when appropriate.
Proactively identify opportunities where advanced analytics, optimization, machine learning, or AI can deliver measurable value.
