In this position...

You will shape how drivers interact with vehicles by leading the end-to-end
design, integration, and delivery of advanced transmission shift systems—ranging
from tactile mechanical shifters to modern electronic shift-by-wire controls.
Serving as the primary technical bridge across styling, human-machine interface
(HMI), hardware, software, and global manufacturing,



you will drive product
quality, functional safety, and premium driver craftsmanship from initial
concept through vehicle launch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

* Lead End-to-End Commodity Delivery: Own the packaging, mechanical/electronic
design integration, and technical release of transmission shifting systems
throughout the complete product lifecycle.
* Define Technical & Ergonomic Specifications: Establish clear functional
requirements, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) stack-ups,
tactile sound and feel attributes, and interface guidelines in alignment with
HMI and Styling Studio teams.
* Drive Systems & Software Integration: Partner with vehicle electrical and
network architecture teams to integrate Controller Area Network (CAN)
messaging, control modules, wiring schematics, and digital vehicle
interfaces.
* Ensure Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Lead engineering risk
assessments (DF
