PurposeLeads the successful local execution of GTB migration initiatives in Mexico by managing on the ground delivery, coordinating with local Product, Technology, Business, and Operations teams, and ensuring alignment with global migration objectives. The role is accountable for local readiness, disciplined execution, stakeholder communication, and timely resolution of risks and issues, while ensuring activities are delivered in line with business priorities, internal policies, and governing regulations.

Accountabilities
• Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Own local delivery execution in Mexico, managing on-the-ground partnerships and ensuring alignment with integral migration objectives.
• Partner with local Product, Technology, and Business teams to execute the migration plan effectively.




• Lead and manage the local migration team, ensuring operational readiness, training completion, and disciplined execution of migration activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for local delivery risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
