Durango School District is accepting applications for Health Service Provider at Escalante Middle School, who will be responsible for creating and maintaining health records and for providing first aide and emergency health care for students and staff members. The starting pay for Health Service Provider is $21.38/hr - $22.47/hr. For individuals with a LPN certification, Emergency Medical Technician certification, Medical Assistant or a post-secondary degree in health sciences, the starting pay is $25.20/hr - $26.84/hr. This position is Monday - Friday and includes full benefits. Begins August 17, 2026.

SUMMARY: Administer first aid and medical care for injured or ill students and staff, provide physician ordered care or procedures, conduct screening programs and assure compliance with state health and immunization laws. Maintain health records, health action plans and billing for Medicaid reimbursable procedures.
