RESPONSIBILITIES

* Review, map, and document end-to-end customs processes to ensure
comprehensive activity capture and mitigate risk of shipment disruptions
related to customs compliance.
* Review reports on a regular basis to track shipment status and identify
potential risks or deviations.
* Ensure shipments cross within target timeframes, coordinating preventive and
corrective actions as needed.
* Identify root cause of shipment holds/delays and implement corrective and
preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
* Follow up on shipments hold due to customs issues, escalated by the logistics
team through to resolution.
* Develop analytic tools.
* Develop performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS





* Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar
* 4+ Years of Experience in the Customs space
* Bilingual Spanish/English
* Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and
import/export processes

* Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven capacity to operate effectively in high-pressure situations
characterized by shifting priorities and evolving business requirement
