Job Description
Primary Function of Position:




The IQC CMM Operator will be performing dimensional and visual inspections of purchased parts, assemblies, and products to ensure incoming specifications have been met prior to release to manufacturing and finished goods. In addition, the IQC CMM operator will use the CMM (coordinate measuring machine) to measure components and EFT’s. Document and communicate the results of inspections and process audits to engineers and others.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Verify programs for Zeiss coordinate measuring machines that are update before using ot.
Use the CMM Zeiss Machines.
Provide guidance to ISI Engineering regarding GD&T.;
Perform First Article inspections using CMM and hand tools (calipers, gage blocks, etc.) as required to support IQC process.
Perform component part inspections using CMM and hand tools (calipers, gage blocks, etc.) as required to support IQC process.
Prepare and publish Gage R&R; studies (Range & Repeatability).
