GENERAL MANAGER – NUEVO LAREDO, MEXICO POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall Actual Laredo operation with full accountability for business performance, operational execution, customer service, financial results, safety, compliance, customs operations, and people leadership. This role serves as the senior leader for one of the company's most critical cross-border operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, compliant, and profitable services while supporting customer supply chains between Mexico and the United States.
The General Manager translates company strategy into operational priorities and measurable results, establishes accountability across all functional areas, and drives a culture of performance, compliance, customer focus, and continuous improvement. The General Manager is responsible for coordinating all operational, administrative, commercial, customs, and compliance functions of the organization, establishing priorities, resolving complex business challenges, developing future leaders, and maintaining a highly collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Business & Financial Performance
Own the overall performance of the operation and ensure alignment with company strategy, objectives, and priorities.
Establish and manage a business scorecard covering operational KPIs, safety, service, productivity, customs performance, compliance, revenue, costs, and profitability.
Own the financial performance of the operation, including budgets, operating costs, productivity, revenue, margins, accounts receivable support, and profitability.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing data analysis, root-cause methodologies, process optimization, and operational excellence principles.
Maintain executive-level relationships with customers, customs brokers, carriers, transportation providers, government agencies, and strategic partners.
Support commercial growth initiatives by providing expertise on customs, international trade,



and cross-border logistics solutions.
Lead initiatives designed to optimize customs clearance, regulatory compliance, transit times, and overall supply chain performance.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
Promote compliance with company policies, operational procedures, quality standards, security requirements, and ethical business practices.
Identify operational, financial, legal, and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Create performance expectations and accountability standards across all functional areas.
Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Master's Degree, MBA, or postgraduate studies in Business, Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience leading multi-functional operations with responsibility for service delivery, financial performance, customer relationships, compliance, and people leadership.
S. cross-border operations and international supply chain management.
Business management, operational planning, financial management, and strategic execution.
KPI development, performance measurement, reporting, and corrective-action management.
Budgeting, forecasting, cost control, pricing awareness, and profitability analysis.
Customer relationship management and commercial business development support.
Process improvement, Lean methodologies, and data-driven decision making.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and proficiency working with transportation, logistics, customs, warehouse, and ERP systems.

Spanish: English: Advanced/fluent business communication required.
S. cross-border expertise, strong financial and operational management capabilities, proven customs and trade compliance experience, and the ability to lead large, multi-functional teams while driving growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
