Your Role on Our Team Under the direction of the Procurement leadership team, the Sr Commodity Analyst leads sourcing and purchasing activities for new product development, supplier interaction, RFP/RFQ management, cost modeling, negotiation support, and supplier readiness. This role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure sourcing decisions support product launch readiness, supplier capability, cost targets, quality expectations, and business objectives. This position requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional leadership, supplier management experience, project management discipline, and the ability to translate procurement data into actionable recommendations for leaders and stakeholders. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities Lead sourcing and purchasing activities for new product development, including RFP/RFQ management, supplier interaction, quotation analysis, and sourcing recommendations. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams to support successful part qualification and production readiness. Negotiate tooling, unit prices, NRE, and commercial terms with suppliers. Evaluate and propose cost reduction opportunities through alternative processes, materials, suppliers, or manufacturing sources. Represent the voice of the supplier during early product development and ensure clear communication of supplier capabilities and risks. Collect, clean, and analyze data from ERP systems, supplier databases,
and procurement tools. Perform cost analysis to support savings tracking, PPV analysis, and freight cost evaluation. Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI or Excel to visualize key procurement metrics, including supplier performance, cost trends, and savings pipeline. Support supplier capacity forecasting and planning using historical trends and predictive models. Provide visibility to Procurement KPIs, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders. Own supplier relationship management activities, including scorecards, risk mitigation, performance follow-up, and problem resolution. The TOOLS you’ll bring with you Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field. 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, materials planning, supplier quality, purchasing, procurement, or related supply chain experience. Advanced English level. Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret data. Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, project management, and supplier coordination skills. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills. Broad experience in sourcing for new product development, cost modeling, and supplier negotiations. Proven experience managing procurement projects across multiple regions or functions. ERP system knowledge, including Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP,
or other cloud-based ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, break down ambiguous concepts, and align stakeholders to next steps.
