Resumen The General Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations and ensuring full compliance with Mexican accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. This role manages the preparation of internal financial information, tax filings, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax obligations in Mexico.

Tareas y responsabilidades

- Manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations.
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and accounting records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Prepare accurate financial internal information in accordance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
- Prepare quarter internal financial information to be reported to headquarter.




- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting policies.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, amortization, and accounting provisions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Coordinate internal and external financial audits.

Estudios / Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- Master's degree or specialization in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in Mexican legislation.
- Background in Mexican tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Experience managing monthly and annual closings.
- English advance is a must.
- Previous experience in automotive or metal mechanical industry.
