CBQA Solutions is a global technology services company and AWS Partner, specializing in cloud, software engineering, automation, infrastructure, and quality engineering solutions for clients across multiple industries.

We are currently looking for a Senior AWS Migration Delivery Tech Lead to lead complex, customer-facing enterprise migration engagements. This role combines hands-on AWS migration expertise, technical leadership, consulting, and delivery ownership, supporting large-scale cloud transformation initiatives within the AWS ecosystem.

The adecuado candidate has successfully led multiple end-to-end mass migrations to AWS involving hundreds to thousands of servers/workloads, while leading technical teams and working directly with senior customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead AWS migration engagements from discovery and assessment through migration execution, cutover, and stabilization.
- Define migration strategies using 7Rs, portfolio assessment, dependency analysis, wave planning, cutover/rollback strategies, and Migration Factory methodologies.
- Own technical strategy and key architecture decisions across AWS migration environments, including AWS MGN, Migration Hub, DMS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, IAM, and multi-account/Landing Zone environments.
- Lead and mentor technical delivery teams, coordinate multiple workstreams, delegate effectively, and drive accountability for technical milestones.
- Work directly with customer technical leadership and senior stakeholders to communicate technical risks, trade-offs, recommendations, and business impact.
- Support SOW and scope definition, Level of Effort (LoE) estimation, resource and delivery planning.




- Drive delivery governance including RAID management, status reporting, risk tracking, escalations, dependencies, and scope changes.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAFR) principles when defining and reviewing technical recommendations.

Required Experience

- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, architecture, migration, or related technical roles, with strong AWS expertise.
- Proven experience leading multiple large-scale, end-to-end AWS migrations, ideally involving hundreds to thousands of servers/workloads.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS MGN and AWS migration services.
- Strong knowledge of 7Rs, migration wave planning, cutover/rollback, discovery, and Migration Factory methodologies.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, hybrid connectivity, IAM, and multi-account environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery teams of 2–4+ resources and coordinating multiple workstreams.
- Strong consulting and customer-facing experience, including communication with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with SOW, scope, LoE estimation, delivery governance, risk management, and escalations.
- Advanced English communication skills required.

- AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty

Experience with migration discovery and automation tools such as ModelizeIT, Cloudamize, Amazon Transform, APEX, SCT, Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK is also valuable.
